At Alliance
the big themes I saw customers discussing were:
·
Fluid – Many
customers are very interested in Fluid, this was the next big project customers
are working on. I would estimate about 20%
customers are live with Fluid now (users love it) and I have a lot
of customers implementing Fluid in Q2/Q3 2017. If you need info on this –
let me know.
·
Recruiting –Customers
really liked the new Fluid Candidate Gateway (many seeing it for the first
time). A number of are looking to leave their current ATS (applicant
tracking system) to re-implement or license PeopleSoft Recruiting Solutions
·
Birds of Feather (customers ask each other questions) - Time and Labor was the hot
topic this year. Customers had questions around the general tracking of
hours and rules & alerts and what 3rd party solutions customers
were using for more sophisticated scheduling/card swipe functionality.
Pretty quiet for Core HR which is typical (which is total fine with meJ).
Customer Corner - I want to highlight the great accomplishments our HR Focus
Group Customers have done this monthJ. If your organization has done something
great (upgraded, deployed fluid/new functionality) please let me know so you can get your
well deserved recognition.
HR Focus Group Updates: Thank you to all
the customers who volunteered to participate in the focus group
·
Guided Self Service (GSS) Focus Group - New &
Improved Manager Self Service – Focus Group provided feedback on different options for the new
Multi-Select feature (ability to select a group of employees for a transaction
– ex. Reports To Update). DEV/QA finalizing work on the Update Employee’s
Hours (FTE) transaction and Clone Position transaction.
·
Global HR Focus Group – DEV/QA is finalizing work on the new eBanking
for self service – employees can update their banking (ex, IBAN) information
- (new feature is for a non-PS Global Payroll customers).
·

Document Acknowledgement as well as starting the conversation around off
boarding. If you would like to help by sharing off boarding requirements
please let Jeremy (Jeremy.Pelley@oracle.com) know.
If you haven’t ‘got onboard’ with this focus group now is a great time
to join.

Employee Snapshot focus group will meet on March 23rd. If you are
interested in giving input in this area please contact Jeremy (Jeremy.pelley@oracle.com)
Profile Management Focus Group – No update this month, look for our next
meeting coming soon.
·
Position Management Focus Group – Still working on conceptual
designs as well as proof of concepts for enhancements to position mgmt
(addition fields, sequence # on position record). We will be meeting to
review, once preliminary designs are complete.
·
ePerformance– We had a great meeting this month and
reviewed enhancements that will be coming in the next PeopleSoft Image.
We also discussed the roadmap and reviewed requirements. We will
meet again in April. If you are interested contact Jeremy (Jeremy.pelley@oracle.com)
·

feedback on new USF features (ex. PAR transactions & more). If you
are interested contact Venky (venkatesh.kotikalapudi@oracle.com).
***Important Note*** Focus Groups are open to all

Your organization needs to have a current CPCA (customer participation
confidentiality agreement) since Oracle discloses future design and
prototypes. Email me if you are interested in any of the above focus
groups.
