FYI – Legislative Update for Global Payroll Spain

In April Oracle published the 4th delivery of Tax Update for 2016 responding to changes affecting Social Security reporting (AFI File) as a result of the RED bulletin 2016/01. In particular the delivery contains code changes on the AFI file generation to allow:
  • Communication of Labor Agreement code applicable to the employees, including modification or deletion.
  • Rename of the AFI event MHU to MIN, as it is now used not just to communicate strikes but also other inactivity periods due ERE.
  • Update on xlat values.
The Position Statement has been revised to include more details about these legislative updates, the patch availability and pre-requisites. We advise customers to review the position statement to keep up-to-date. The Position Statement can be found on My Oracle Support, Document ID 1520058.1.
