Customer Corner - I want to highlight the great accomplishments our HR Focus Group Customers have done this monthJ.  If your organization has done something great (upgraded, deployed fluid/new functionality) please let me know so you can get your well deserved recognition.


 HR Focus Group Updates:  Thank you to all the customers who volunteered to participate in the focus group
  • Global HR– Presented an update on Global HR, Data Privacy & Global Payroll (hosted by Quest).  If you weren’t able to attend, here is the recording  - http://nnf.questdirect.org/questmediaviewer.aspx?video=248156165
  • Onboarding -  We will have our next onboarding focus group meeting in January.  We will be touching on new functionality with documents which is currently in development,  as well as starting to define our pre-boarding requirements.  If you want to be a part of the focus group, contact Jeremy (jeremy.pelley@oracle.com)
  • ePerformance - Development continues working on enhanced notifications and we will be reviewing the final requirements for auto document transfer on our January call.   If you want to be a part of the focus group, contact Jeremy (jeremy.pelley@oracle.com)
  • Employee Snapshot –  Development is currently working on the HR Admin view of employee snapshot.  The focus group will meet January 18th.  Be looking for your invite in early January If you want to be a part of the focus group, contact Jeremy (jeremy.pelley@oracle.com)
  • Profile Management - The focus group discussed requirements for adding attachments.  We plan on showing conceptual designs for review on the January call.  If you want to be a part of the focus group, contact Jeremy (jeremy.pelley@oracle.com)

  • Company Directory Focus Group reviewed the ranking results of the top enhancement requests submitted.   If you are interested in participating please contact Prathibha (prathibha.sastry@oracle.com)
  • U.S. Federal –  Robbin Velayedam presented in Oracle Federal Forum 2017 event on Dec 14thRed Paper for Guided Personnel Actions for U.S.Federal was also posted on MOS.  If you are interested, contact Venky (venkatesh.kotikalapudi@oracle.com)

***Important Note*** Focus Groups are open to all customers, calls are typically once a month for an hour or as needed.  Your organization needs to have a current CPCA (customer participation confidentiality agreement) since Oracle discloses future design and prototypes.  Email me if you are interested in any of the above focus groups.

  • United States OSHA now requires Form 300A starting with 2016 to be submitted electronically.
  • United States – Special 9.2 posting for Affordable Care Act
  • United States - The Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) of 2015, requires the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services to remove Social Security Numbers (SSNs) from all Medicare cards by April 2019
  • United States - On December 7, the IRS acknowledged that several IRS forms and publications, including the 2018 federal withholding tables, are likely to be issued later than in recent years, due to the likely enactment of H.R. 1, The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, before the end of the year.
  • New Zealand – Inland Revenue Department has released the changes for fiscal year 2018 as effective April 2018. This includes changes to ACC Earner’s Levy rate & threshold and a new system 'myIR' to send IR348 and IR345 files
  • Australia - The Australian Government Department of Human Services has set a minimum amount that must remain in a person’s wage after tax and child support have been deducted
  • Switzerland – Unemployment contribution in case of payments for previous year terminated employees Cantonal Source Tax Rates and Refund Rates Cantonal Child Allowances and Employer Contribution Rates Update Postal codes and Village Codes (Steuergemeinde) Update Swiss Banks (esp. BIC for ISO 20022)
  • United Kingdom - HMRC has released further changes to RTI Reporting for Fiscal Year 2018-19
  • Spain - As result of the publication of Orden Foral 676/2017, Oracle has delivered Tax Update (#9) containing the changes to comply with the technical requirements for the reporting of Model 190 for 2017 for the State fiscal territory
  • Brazil - eSocial Mapping The mapping for the Version 2.4.01 of the eSocial Layouts is currently available

 HR Bundles/PUM Update – tentative dates
  • 9.1 – Bundle #26 –scheduled for February 2, 2018 – Important Note:  This is the last 9.1 Bundle J!!!
  • 9.2 – Image #25 – scheduled for January 19, 2018
