People Soft 9.2 Technical Lead 
Duration: 6 months+
Location: Cheyenne, WY
The ideal candidate will act as the assistant to the principal, 
end-to-end technical lead for various upgrades. The candidate will have 
accountability for the quality of the development and technical delivery
 of a given initiative. The candidate should have an understanding of 
major PeopleSoft and Agile Asset systems and sub-systems, an 
understanding of the technology, tools and designs that support the 
Finance, HCM, Portal and Agile Asset application portfolio. 
Responsibilities and capabilities include:
Double Upgrade OR functional Knowledge Transfer
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in a highly matrixed environment
-Collaborate with subject matter experts, various stakeholders and 
fellow developers to design, develop, implement and support complex 
business solutions.
- Accountable to provide the technical leadership necessary to safeguard
 the integrity of the applications and application environments within 
their purview.
-Provide oversight of maintenance and invest designs to ensure the 
integrity and quality of the production end product. Ensures designs 
meet immediate and long term financial objectives.
- Review and approve major technical design changes and participate in the review of change management activities.
-Oversee technical deliverables for invest and maintenance projects 
through the software development life cycle, including validating the 
completeness of estimates, quality and accuracy of technical designs, 
build, and implementation.
-Provide leadership and support when required on critical production 
issues ensuring proper communication with infrastructure and application
 technical support teams.
-Lead positive and effective change by influencing and educating Business, IT and Sourcing partners
-Facilitate continuity between Sourcing Partners, other IT Groups and Enterprise Architecture.
-Contribute to the enhancement of the new technical leadership discipline and model the behaviors expected.
-Act as liaison between architecture and application development teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ Years of development experience in PeopleSoft applications, Accounting Hub, and PeopleSoft ERP enterprise applications. 
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or related disciple with a minimum
 of 5 years of work experience in IT systems analysis and application 
program development, or an equivalent combination of education and work 
experience. 
- Requires an extensive knowledge of the system development life cycle and application program development alternatives. 
- Understanding of system architecture to support a web application and batch processing environment 
-Technical aptitude and mindset to bridge across multiple mid-tier platforms and technologies.
